Novatech - selling second hand kit as new? - Nexus PSUs. by
John Perry
Today I went to Novatech to pick up my Nexus Real Silent 400W PSU which
I had ordered. Invoice SI/3072074 if Novatech are watching.
When I got it, instead of it being boxed as per the catalogue, it came
loose with a scratched case. I said this looks like a second hand one
and asked the guy who...

No, thanks. Sky is tripe. Sky TV is the only proof anyone needs that it's

Misco anyone? by
Odie Ferrous
I recall these guys started out selling consumables - I may be wrong.
However, their website is a pleasure to use and they appear to have a
good selection of everything at reasonable prices.
Has anyone actually used them recently?

problems with a supplier of a pre-built PC by
Chris Basford
I apologise if this is slightly OT for uk.comp.homebuilt, but you guys
were very helpful last time I asked a question and uk.comp.vendors,
whilst the most relevant group seems to receive hardly any traffic.
Basically, I decided to buy a pre-built base unit from RedJag Computers
(www.redjag.co.uk)...

Trace Co. by VAT No? by
ComPCs
Is there any way to see if a company is still trading by just having
their VAT number?
I have in my possession a rather nice collection of counterfeit software
for which a client of mine has paid a tidy sum believing he was going to
get the genuine article.
It seems he may have been the subject...

Shuttle motherboards. by
Jim Howes
I have a dead shuttle XPC; the motherboard (FX41) has failed.
Nobody seems to sell just the motherboards, only a whole new box (and
considering the PSU's they use cost around £50, and the whole thing
about £103, I'd rather not bin the whole box if I can just change the board.
Anyone sell...

PING: anyone from Tekheads ? by

could anyone from tekheads please tell me why an RMA has taken
4 months, from start to (still running)
you're all very busy and I've been very patient, but 4 months is excessive,
whatever the excuses, for a company to sort out a simple RMA.
my last email was ignored and I'm reluctant to contact...

Any dealer got the Samsung ML-1510 in stock for £50? by
Stevie Boy
A few months after I thought all stocks of the ML-1510 had run out,
it reappeared in some shops (like Staples). Again the printer with
cartridge was £50.
Well here I am hoping that I can still get one at that price. Does
any one know of anywhere still doing the Samsung ML-1510...
