Hi All,
I'm looking for a decent home NAS solution.
I want a small, low power box that I can run headless and do the
following:
* serve up network shares at 100mbit speeds, preferably via SMB and
AFP
* run a bittorrent client on
* run FTP
* has a simple web-based admin page

Partition USB to CDFS by

Does anyone know how to partition a usb drive to CDFS? I researched a
lot and cannot find anything helpful. I have yet to see anyone who
has been successful in doing this. I know scandisk U3 drives have

Hi,
I have a problem with RAID 1 (ADAPTEC ULTRA 320), when I install a
Debian Linux don't recognize the Raid, see in many pages of internet
and the problem solve with module a320raid, but when I remove a
aic79xx module from my server i can remove.
Do you solve my problem?

from my computers without having arsik to loose data.
But this is not the case.

HP A3311A/12A arrays- SE & DF: SCSI disks by

I have an issue relating SE disks,,,have a bunch of cables but the all
three arrays working fine with a bunch of DF disks individuall. When
putting SE disks into array, any of them, than the Scsi controller
doesn't recognize the disks...in manual there is a difference between SE
terminator...

and +two bigger redundant power supplys.
It has 8x4.3GB DF Scsi disks inside. (i have another four disks of 9.1GB
SE aside).
What would be then's and today's usability of this array ? (cca.30GB
