Hitachi Deskstar 7K3000 chips inward design. by
Skybuck Flying[_3_]
Hello,
This seems like a pretty sweet drive to me, especially the 2 Terrabyte
version since it won't have any issue's with the 2.2 barrier limit.
The only thing which bothers me a bit is it's inward chip design which can
be seen here (1) and here (2):

I think my P4C800-E is fried by
Bill Anderson
It was a previous build I no longer needed so I fixed it up with a cheap
case and an earlier generation Plextor DVD writer and a decent HDD and
so forth and gave it to a friend who needed a computer. It worked great
for a couple of years or so and then she was having trouble, I don't
remember...

Delayed Write Failed by

Anyway, at this point I can't get a Delayed Write Failed to happen as

Installing RAID 1 on an existing KP system by adding 2 new drives? by
DeadDog
Hello,
I currently have a P5B Deluxe.
I was hoping to install two new 2 TB drives while leaving the current
drive in place.
The current system works fine, I just want extra security for my data.
I want to use the 2 new drives in a RAID 1 setup for data only.

Recommendations for painless upgrade? by
Erland Sommarskog
My motherboard and CPU is 4½ years old, so I don't have to feel ashamed
for considering an upgrade. On the other hand, I have little interest of
a complete reinstall of the OS and everything else. That takes just too
much time.
Currently I have an M2NPV-VM with an AMD Athlon X2 Dual-cide 4200+....

AiBooster - Can it be run minimized? by
Newman
I am econfiguring an old system with a P4P800 in it, and I found the
AiBooster. Works like a charm. The only thing is that this system is
used by multiple users, and I really do NOT want AiBoost launching "in
your face" every time someone logs in!
Is there a was to force it to run minimized and...

SABERTOOTH X58 clock drift by
DevilsPGD[_4_]
Anyone else out there with a SABERTOOTH X58 have trouble keeping the
clock accurate?
I've got two of these systems, both with i7-950 CPUs, and both seem to
be losing several minutes an hour until NTP notices and corrects it,
then the process starts over again.
Updated the BIOS (longshot, I know),...

My motherboard is: ASUS P5W DH DELUXE.
Can I solve it and do the Boot with CD?

CPU Fan Error!
Press F1 to Resume
This error seems to be so common with Asus MBs that there are probably
several "stickies" regarding it. The typical workaround appears to be
ignoring the CPU at the Power/HM BIOS screen as a last resort. Either
that or disabling the "Wait for F1" option in the...
