AMD Processor Prices by
Círdan Falassion
Could I ask those in the know if AMD are planning any price cuts on their
processors soon? Don't want to spend out now and find out that they've
dropped by 20% in a few weeks time.
Thanks

Anyone get a Dabs customer review posted? by
Ant C
"Probe" wrote in message

I bought a modem-router from Dabs and posted a brief review on their
site.
I stated what I got in the box (since the site did not), that you'd need
to
buy a J45 cable (no mention of this on the site)...

I don't know if any of you rely on the vendor reviews from the above but I
have recently been monitoring a negative thread building against
simplyabargain.com.
I was a little puzzled when my own restrained complaint failed to be posted
but I now find that all the recent bad reviews and some of the...

Adv: Switches, Router & Cabinets by
Ben
Thanks once again for everyone's help, regarding network cabling, I now have
an excellent idea of what is required to set up a professional looking
network.
After receiving my first quote, I've pretty much decided to do it myself,
with the help of the building/electrical contractor.
I've got a...

In Stock - my arse. by
Rhys Jones
Is there some law against misleading customers about stock
availability? If not - why not?!
Most of the time when I'm buying online I will select a supplier
because they have stock of the goods rather than because they have a
better price. If I need something I usually need it now, not at...

PC World by
A relative of mine purchased a Ei System (laptop) from PC World a couple of
days ago (have never heard of such a name). The following day they emailed
me to say that they had what looked like purplish lines running across the
screen. Take it back and demand you money back I said. This was...

WTD: Powerpoint/Access by

I know these can be bought seperately, but consider them to be overpriced if
bought this way. A customer only requires these two programs so doesn't want
to go to the expense of buying the 'full works'. Any ideas?
Even an Office '97 oem, or newer if offered cheap enough, would...

Dilbert by
John Blundell
I thought this might be relevant to this newsgroup. :-)
http://www.comics.com/comics/dilbert/archive/dilbert-20040104.html
Obviously it does not apply to the vendors who post to this group on a
regular basis, who do provide a better standard of service. But
relevant for some of the bigger...

ebuyer problems! by

I hope at least some prospective buyers read this before making a
purchase.
I have purchased off these people a few times over the last 12 months.
I have had a nightmare trying to get itmes replaced/repaired.
After sending back a wireless router for the second time in its short
life, it seems they...
