Where to buy. by
Timelord
I am wanting to buy a brand new Nvidia 7950GT AGP 512mb card but i cannot
find stock anywhere here in the UK at the moment. The usual Google search
finds them but the web pages are cached and actual stock from the found
suppliers is actually nil.

PING JLC by
Swampbug
I took your advice and revisited the NVidia forums. There was a reply to one
inquiry which indicated that "NVidia got it wrong!" The TV will not be
recognized unless the SVHS cable is used. So, I hauled in my crt based set
from the bedroom, hooked up a 12ft SVHS cable and VOILA! it worked. Not...

Fan speed control with Forceware 169.02 by
Augustus
Just realized that the reason I've run into a few hard lockup issues (in
F.E.A.R.)with my new 8800GT is that the fan control doesn't ramp up at all
in 3D games, just stays at the regular 2D 29% and that's it. I'm using
Rivatuner to set the fan at a fixed 75% in 2D/3D, but when use Rivatuner to...

The questions;
Would anyone in this group, by chance, be using an NVidia 8600 series video
board. I need some serious help achieving 'TV Out' capabilities.

Help with TV OUT, can't resize screen. by
JLC
I'm back to Nivdia after using ATI cards since the 9800Pro. I now have a
8800GT. ATI's TV out drivers worked great and I watch a lot of video on my
TV (a standard 4:3 set) What is lacking in the Nvidia TV out driver is a way
to resize my TV screen. I can move the screen up and down, side to...

Best driver for laptop by
Rene
Hi everybody,
I bought a laptop with an 8600 nvidia chip. From what I read I can conclude
that most recent drivers from nvidia are not exactly perfect. Which driver
would You recommend me to use on this laptop (i.e. which one is at this
moment for that chip the most stable)? I prefer the old...

Replacing stock cooling on 8800GT?? by
SHRED
Would replacing the stock cooling on my EVGA SC 8800GT void the warranty?
If not then does it affect or nullify the "trade up" policy?
What are some other good programs, besides RivaTuner, that read GPU
temps and fan speeds?
What are considered "good" temp ranges?
What are considered...

Using nvidia 7300gt for dual monitors by
Dick_Carlson
I've got the Nvidia 7300GT, and I'd like to run two monitors on it.
There is one VGA plug, and one DVI plug. But I can't seem to get it
to see both -- am I missing something, or does it only do one at a
time?

Mix and match brands for SLI? by
Jason A.
I am contemplating pulling the trigger after X-Mas, and going SLI. I've
got the motherboard, and I've currently got a PNY 8800GTS 640MB.
Problem is, PNY no longer makes this card, they've gone to the 512MB
GTS. Could I SLI with dis-similar brands, as long as I stay with the
same model, and...

Can 8600GT do Different resolution on 2 monitors? by
Ritual[_2_]
Can a 8600GT PCIe do two different resolutions on two monitors? I'm
going to be getting a new widescreen monitor (and new computer) and
would like to use my old 4:3 flat screen along with it but that would
not be practice if the resolution had to be the same on both.
