yes thats the difference, bartons have lower clock speeds at their PR
ratings but tend to overclock well. the cache does't benefit the xp like the
P4 do mostly to the large L1 caches on the XP comared to the tiny ones on
the P4.

I have the version 1.1 of the KT7A Raid.....and an XP 2400+ (Thorton) cpu.
Is this problematic? I have read that versions 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 don't really
support the XP? I've also can't get a pny 256 mb 133 mhz memory module to be
recognized, although the pny web site, says it is compatible...
