my Soundblaster 5.1 theatre with 2200 speakers does not upgrade, but neither
will it install with XP.

P4 2.6GHz w/ Hyper-Threading vs. P M 1.5GHz by

Hello all,
I'm trying to decide between two laptops. One had a Pentium 4 2.6GHz with
Hyper-Threading Technology (and a 15.1 inch screen) and the other has a
Pentium M 1.5GHz (and a 15.4 inch wide screen).
If I'm trying to compare speed/performance what would the 1.5GHz Pentium M
translate into if...

Hello all,
I'm in the market for decent laptop for home use and have narrowed my search
to the Gateway M350S. One of the reasons is that's one of the few units I've
seen in my price range with an Intel P4 w/ Hyper-Threading technology. Is HT
worth this much consideration or am I placing too much...

My Gateway Performance 450 is about 4.5 years old. I assume it's easy to
replace the cmos battery - just find what looks like a button battery on the
motherboard, take it out, and put in the new one. My question is - is it a
big chore restoring the BIOS settings, or is it likely that the defaults...

I have almost the exact opposite problem. So long I had the printer hooked

would not print to it although it knew it was out there on the network. I

Has anyone been able to play .wmv or divx files on their Gateway

that will enable this. I'm considering buying one, but need to be
able to play these 2 formats.
