My ancient Epson Stylus C82 is suddenly delivering very poor quality output, so far not fixable. I want to replace it quickly. (Christmas cards, framed photos, DVD covers etc, all with pressing deadlines, some already in the past!) I was surprised to find the market seems dominated by...

Epsons designed to stop?? by Mike
Hi - I just had this statement emailed to me by somebody who ususally knows about these things in a professional capacity: "Epsons are built to stop functioning when the internal counter reaches a certain number, and you do need to be aware of this. Many people aren't.!!" I find this very hard to...

The TRUTH about dye prints both Canon & Epson by Larry
The truth of the matter appears to be that the dye ink prints from ALL dye based inkjet printers will fade if they are abused,,, PERIOD. The problem seems to be that they dont get treated properly after printing. I have an on-going experiment at my house (average home, 1 smoker, 1 non smoker,...

Good morning or good evening depending upon your location. I want to ask you the most important question of your life. Your joy or sorrow for all eternity depends upon your answer. The question is: Are you saved? It is not a question of how good by RFM
Burt, please don't reply to SPAM. Spammers don't go back and read responses to their junk, and those of us that have "RonGrossi" in a killfile don't need to see his stuff included in your responses. Thanks. "Burt" wrote in...

I also need help with Duplex on my IP4000 (Different Problem) by Mikey
It seems that if I print the same document with exact same settings the print quality of black is paler when using Duplex. It seems that it is not using the same black ink as the Non Duplex printing. Anyone know if this is the case, or should I try a reinstall of the software? Thanks

Epson wins litigation - aftermarket carts already in short supply by anonymous
Today my wholesale supplier of aftermarket inkjet cartridges for my Epson 760, 860 and 1160 printers told me that they are out of carts for these printers and won't have a source of supply available until some time in October. It seems that quite a number of aftermarket cart manufacturers settled...

HP 6980 - won't properly connect "securely" via wireless - only "unsecurely" by [email protected]
Attempted to set up a HP6980 for a neighbour, expecting it to be easy - connected to a Toshiba laptop via a Draytek 2800G wireless router But the wireless printing only seems to work when the printer has *no* encryption set. If the printer has no encryption set, it prints fine. Setting up using...

Canon S200 by Zak
This is the worst printer I have ever had. If I don't print something everyday, it dries up and will not print. It then takes me an hour to get it going again. I have sent it in to Canon and it still does this. There are other problems as well. I don't recommend it, or Canon to anyone.
