optical mouse by
[email protected]
My optical mouse (Packard Bell) has stopped working. Batteries seem ok
and Device Manager says mouse is working and I've tried everything I
can think of but to no avail. Anyone any ideas?

I see many of you are top posting. That has many advantages. If you

Conversion to PCL? by
JJ
Hello:
I'm new to this group. I found a reference to it and just thought I'd try
my question here.
We have a company logo. I can get it in jpg or bmp format. I might even be
able to get it in PDF format...
But what we need to do is convert it to PCL. Then I have to store that PCL
somewhere...

Best Photo papers for printers by
Richard Taylor
Is there a website listing the papers to use, and the ones to avoid,
with different inkjet printers?
Been using Jessops Photo Glossy with my Epson R800 and am very pleased
with results. Ran out when printing off loads of holiday snaps and put
some Kodak paper in. Got it on a buy one get one...

Martin C.
How much does it cost to print & bind a PDF into a book?
In a related post to the electronic newsgroups, I found a bunch of
'ebooks' which are basically PDFs which can be printed, for free.
What's the trick to printing & binding them at home?
What is the cost normally associated by page for...

Laserjet for photos by
Sheldon
I have some clients who really want speed. I've never thought about using a
LaserJet for photos, but I know a lot of graphic artists use them, and the
results look pretty good when they print out a pdf page, and whatnot.
What's the story on using a LaserJet for photo-quality prints? Does it
work?...

Epson is stopping non-Epson ink sales by
Frank Arthur
Epson managed to stop delivery of non Epson ink from a supplier in
Canada.
If Epson prevents me from buying less expensive inks I guarantee I
will never again buy an Epson product again.
How do you feel about it?

Paper Quality by

Hi. I am just after some advice on A4 paper.
I don't know too much about the different grades and weights, but what
I am looking for at the moment is something that is really good
quality and will allow me to print on both sides of the paper without
the ink showing through to the other side and...

My annoying HP C6180 All-In-One printer by
W. eWatson[_2_]
In Dec. 2009 I moved from XP to Win7. Around April I decided to attach
my HP C6180 printer. As I recall if worked fine. About 2-3 months ago,
it could not be found. I re-installed the drivers. It worked for about
two weeks. I finally tried again, and installing the drivers didn't
help. After a...

How to print a file from the command line? Epson, Brother by
micky
Is there a command line that would print one picture from my files using
an Epson printer?
a Brother printer?
I should have thought of this earlier, but I need something to keep the
ink jet printers from drying out while I'm gone. Isn't 11 weeks enough
time to do that?
I thought I'd make a...

Canon iP4000 or iP5000? For graphic output by
Sarah Feliz
So I'm considering ditching the HP8450 I just got (good photos, great speed,
inferior graphics). And have seen ultra raves for the Canon iP printers,
especially the iP5000 (the ip4000 too, but not quite as much).
Would this work for graphic output like making greeting cards, using
non-proprietary...
