AMD Athlon64 3200+ oem by JFK
dabs have a non-retail version of the above cpu for just £214 (retail is over £300). The only problem is that it's ordered upon request, and I have had bad experiences with dabs when items are not in stock so i'd like to get it elsewhere. All other vendors I've seen have only the retail version...

Good UK printer vendor (Upgrade HP 930c) by garden enthusiast
After three years solid service, my HP 930c printer died recently... there was a massive pool of ink inside the printer. Looking for recommendations on a good HP printer to upgrade to, and more importantly, advice on suitable UK VENDORS. Thanks !

Anyone else notice Digi-UK's new website? Looks like they mean business, must of cost a bob or two! www.digi-uk.com for those that are wondering what I'm on about. I bought one of their Samsung 193T's on the recommendation of this group a while ago, seems like they have expanded somewhat since...

PC3500 RAM on a DDR 400 board by steeler
Am I right in thinking that PC3500 will go fin on a DDR400 rated board such as those based around the springdale or canderwood chipsets. These all send to advertise PC2700/3000/3200 compatability but I assume PC3500 will just run fine at stock PC3200 speeds without overclocking?

FAO: Rob @ Aria by scorpio18
Rob, Could you please sort out a problem for me. I placed a trade order (EC301819) which was for a 9800 Pro and 256Mb DDR. What I received today, after waiting over a week, was a latitude c-series adapter. This order was urgent and needed by today at the latest. The delivery address on the invoice...

Anyone rate Tekheads for parts? by Mike Barnard
I only ask because they sent me the wrong graphics card. A "Peak 9600 pro" instead of a "Sapphire 9800 pro". I've emailed thier returns dept and will follow it up with a phone call tomorrow, if anyone is there. Problem is that I was going to build a system for my sister who is visiting for the...

Aria are totally anal... by Zorg
.... when it comes to giving refunds. I sent back a TV card in January that didn't work with my system. It was RMAed and I got an auto-generated receipt email, but no refund on my credit card. Two weeks ago, I phoned them about it, and without offering any explanation for the delay, the guy I spoke...

Cheapest USB-attached memory sticks? by MJP
I am sorely tempted to get a memory stick which I can attach to a USB port and which gives the system access to the memory on the drive. I have seen 512MB sticks and that seems nice. The price of these devices seems to be constantly changing, so I don't want to buy too early in a faling...

dabs censor customer reviews? by loz
I bought several items from dabs recently. I posted some fairly honest reviews - e.g. pointing out that my LCD monitor had a dead pixel - but also I was critical of dabs poor customer service - e.g. lack of response to emails. I wasn't rude or OTT. A few weeks later, not one of my reviews as...
