Strange problem by
greysky
A while ago, my computer crashed in an odd way: On power up, it could not
detect my hard drive, and would give a message it couldn't find an OS. If I
pressed the reset switch, it would boot up OK. Yes, it would only boot on a
soft boot. Anyway, I figured as long as something worked, it wasn't...

Today I cleaned antec 1200 dust filters. (slighty dusty) by
Skybuck Flying[_2_]
Hello,
After only 10 days I decided to clean the antec 1200 dust filters.
I am quite amazed that it was only 10 days ago ?!
The dust filters contained only a little bit of dusty... but I was getting
worried because I couldn't see the laser so clear anymore... it had a blurry
look.

Anyone have ASUS M3A78-T board? by
Wookie
I'm thinking of getting the M3A78-T, 790 GX board, and was wondering if
anyone had this board and could comment on it.
I like the SB750 and seems to be a step up from the 780G boards which have
SB600 and 700. The FX boards are generally more expensive and the ones that
do have the SB750 are...

M2N-SLI and RAM by
Murray McNeill[_3_]
I have the above mentioned board, and 2 Gigs of Corsair RAM. It has the
Enhanced Performance Profile, which greatly reduces clock cycles and
increases voltage to 2.1 for the RAM buss. However. the board runs at the
slower, more conservative SPD settings, and won't use the EPP settings for

Graphics bad by
reqluq
Hi, I began to see bad spotting on my monitor, so I tried another monitor
and it did the same. Assuming it was the vga card (geforce 200) I bought a
new card and installed it..same thing; in safe mode also. Is there something
on the motherboard that would cause this? I checked the bios...

Any comments about P5Q PRO? by
tenthmed
I am in need of a new mobo. This board seems to be right for me, but I
am torn between it and the Foxconn P45A-S because of purportedly
superior Foxconn quality.
Any input would be appreciated.

A8N SLI-Premium temps 41c and 37c by
toronado455
What is the normal range of A8N SLI-Premium motherboard temps?
CPUID PC Wizard is reporting:
NVSU interface: mainboard 41c
ITE IT8712F sensor shows a lower mainboard temp of 37c.
(I guess there are multiple sensors on the motherboard and that's why
there are two different numbers being reported.)

keyboard...

Jim
I'm looking at this board but a bit confused what all the versions mean, I'm
not into gaming or O/C just need a sound solid board, would rather spend
less on mainboard (that does what i need) and get a better cpu as i do a lot
of video encoding mpg to avi and dvd9 to dvd5

A8N5X takes a few minutes before I can power up by
[email protected]
Hi all,
Started having a power up problem with my A8N5X.
When I first turn on the 110V (I switch off overnight) I used to see all my USB
peripherals lights come on (KVM, keyboard, game controller, flash card reader
etc), I would press the "power on" button on the chassis and it would turn...
