what does "boot to PXE" mean? by
[email protected]
An upgrade to my BIOS fixes " will not boot to PXE when 3rd party 256
MB AGP card is present". What is "boot to PXE" ? I do want to use a
3rd party 256MB AGP card, Asylum GeForece FX 5200 256 MB DDR.
I have no plans to network this machine. Need I worry about fixing
this boot to PXE problem?

PCI settings on 7501 chipset by
Brannon King
Does anyone know what the PCI transaction settings are for the 7500, 7501,
7505 chipsets and/or where to find them?
For example,
When my PCI64 device issues a master DMA burst transaction, the chipset
sends retry signals down to my device while it prefetches the host memory.
How many cycles does...

Intel Board, D87PBZ, Bios P18.Fans on during standby. How to turn off? by
JohnJ
To the Intel gurus.
I've built PCs in the past and when this happened, using ASUS boards, I
would disable Power Management on the USB Root Hub, the problem solved. But
those were Win2K pcs, SP4 installed.
Built a PC for a client. 875PBZ Board, 3.2 P4. Very stable so far. But fans
stay on Standby....

Hi
Does anybody know if the very-soon-to-be-released Prescott/P4 chips (socket

the Prescott core was going to be full of?
I want to buy a new Mobo & CPU... I've pretty much decided on the Asus
P4P800 (ie i865PE chipset)...
