Asus M3A Phenon 9500 Overclocking by
Peter van der Goes[_2_]
At the risk of intruding on this MI5 crap with an on-topic message...
Anybody out there with an M3A and Phenom that has had success overclocking?
If so, please share BIOS changes and other techniques. I got the 2.2 up to
2.4 by adjusting the FSB. Anything higher results in instability. Attempts...

Looking for industry benchmark performanc references for CPU,Memory... by
runner
Good day:
Not sure I have the right group, but here goes.
I am looking for benchmark industry standards regarding the maximum
utilization level (e.g. %) at which CPUs, memory and other components
and metrics register a decline in system performance or
responsiveness. For example, if my server...

PC hangs at Raid configuration during boot by
Bill Stock
Like the title says, my PC hangs during boot just after the Press F10 to
enter to enter Raid setup message. Once the system warms up I can reboot and
get into Windows without problems. I assume this is likely a HD problem with
one of my RAID devices? Maybe a corrupt BIOS?
Any ideas?

new benchmark: core-2-core transfer-speed by
Elcaro Nosille[_2_]
It's always said that the single-die technology of AMD's phenon
is superior to Intel's dual-die solution. I wrote a little bench-
mark some time ago that measures the speed of transfers from one
CPU core to another. This benchmark measureed the throughput and
latency of linear and random memory...

A dual Opteron or a dual Xeon?

'New' build failure by
Bill Stock
I built a new system and moved the old MB/Ram/Video/CPU/PSU to a another
case with the Hard Drives from another system that died. The new system
works fine, but the moved parts won't boot up. I get to the boot screen, but
I can't get into the BIOS. The Num Lock on the Keyboard seems to work fine...

Unlocking ASUS bios OC features? by
Strutter[_3_]
Hi guys, can someone please tell me how to unlock the overclocking /
advanced features in the bios of my M2N-MX SE PLUS motherboard, as there
isn't any options to change the FSB or any of the other options. I've tried
some key combinations like Contrl & F1 but nothing has worked.
Thanks
