Not a question. Just posting some facts.
The Chaintech 7NIF2 is a microATX motherboard using the nForce2
chipset. It has onboard video (Geforce 4 MX) and TV out.
This board is EXTREMELY picky when it comes to memory. If you've got
weird problems with this board, particularly video corruption...

Monitor Images Distorted by
David Godinger
Images that should be square on my computer monitor are now clearly
rectangular (they're longer up and down). Text also gets distorted in
the same way.
I tried changing the monitor settings, using the menu that comes by
pressing the buttons on the monitor. However, I've succeeded in making

what will happen to broadband if they seize p2p by
FuzionMan
Hi Guys,
I was just thinking about this earlier today. As the crackdown continues
with P2P users getting sued, people will begin to cancel out their DSL/Cable
accounts because they will see no need for it (I know for sure I would
cancel mine). So my question is, would these big broadband...

Control other devices with PC using infra red? by
Some One
Hey all!
Is there anything out there that will let a PC control other devices
that use infra-red remotes? Basically, I want the PC to be able to
control the cable box, stereo, etc...
Thanks!
P.s. Are there any newsgroups that would be better to ask? I didn't
find anything while looking.

Do you know the manufacturer of the disk drive? It is probably a Toshiba
but it could be IBM, WD, Seagate ...
Once you find out, go to the manufacturers disk site and download a zero
disk utility and the manufacturer diags to test the disk. If it fails to
pass the tests, it is dead.

Is it possible to install a second hard drive to my new Time computer as

I have had the same problem but have not found a proper solution... I am
now using my Seagate drive as a slave and a new Western Digital as the
