8.9mb. Haven't tried them yet. I hope it fixes the problem with
Battlefield 1942 and the Desert Combat mod.

Have played the Tobruk map in BF1942 and so far it looks like they
fixed the driver.

It's somewhat ironic that these 52.70 drivers originally came from MSI yet
my MSI GF3 Ti-200 refuses to work properly with any driver above 44.xx.

The problems with 52.16 (BSOD and/or corruption) only occurred with
the Desert Combat mod..............

Quite right, should have put that tidbit in. So far it seems that they
have fixed the problem.

Not so - also End of Days or whatever the Vietnam mod is. And given DC
and that are the only mods I play, there may be more or all I know.

The 52x drivers are optimized for the FX line of cards. Stay with the 44x
drivers and you should be fine.

Does not solve the screen flicker in Rise of Nations introduced in version
52.16.

A bit annoying.

Well, I have played EOD, DC and the regular game and all now work
perfectly - very good :)

In fact, even thougth I think I say this every time but I think it's
running better than 52.16 even thought 3D mark 03-04 gives a lower
result. (but who cares about that right?)

Have you played Guadalcanal with DC yet? Tried it last night, kept
crashing to desktop. I'm not saying it was the driver. Not sure what
it was. Everything works great though.

Actually, just tried it again with DC, same problem. Tried both
vanilla and BG42, no problem with either. Maybe its a problem with DC.
I still have .4, getting the new version this weekend. Maybe that will
make a difference.

Mine keeps exiting to the desktop too, but I'm using 45.23 (DC .4j,
BF1942 1.45). Seems to just be that one map though.

I played Guadalcanal with BG42, then went back to DC after. Kharkov
and Omaha worked just fine.

I've only been playing 'no fly zone' in DC so don't know if some other
levels still have probelms. One thing I would say is that the 45.23
drivers were the worst ever IMO on my FX card - if you are using an FX
then get on the 52.x asap - much faster.

I'm using BF 1.5 and DC 0.5 BTW.
